If you are working on a project that involves any aspect of Natural Language Processing, you can come to us for advice. Phrasys has access to a variety of experts on many aspects of computational linguistics, corpus linguistics, and lexicography. Consultancy can range from initial advice on the design and planning of projects, to feasibility studies, and even to the implementation of custom software.

NLP Software

If you are working on an application that requires analysis of textual data, Phrasys provides a range of prefabricated components which solve a variety of natural language processing tasks. All components are implemented in Java, they are autonomous modules, and they are available as shareware with three different types of licence, from personal use only to full commercial use including distribution within an application.

Freeware

In addition to the components which warrant distribution as shareware, you can also find some smaller pieces of free software on this site. These components are useful little routines which you can use in your own programs according to the GPL. All software is implemented in Java and comes with full API documentation
