| As did the prodigal son | | | | For your decision |
| While they continue to shun | | | | To submit or to run |
| The necessary pressure | | | | Will determine |
| It takes to process | | | | When and whether |
| A precious stone | | | | Progress will come |
| In the midst of development | | | | As Ben Franklin did say |
| They groan and moan | | | | Good intentions count for nothing |
| Consider however this riddle | | | | It's proper execution that counts |
| Out of the strong | | | | Thus mentoring is the route |
| Comes forth sweetness | | | | To arise, break barriers and surmount! |
| Don't be surprised | | | | So embrace and take hold of it now |
| We all know what fatigue is | | | | Though you may not fully |
| The spirit indeed is willing | | | | Know exactly how |
| But the flesh is weak | | | | Transformation inside |
| Now step back a moment | | | | Precedes transformation outside |
| Before you speak | | | | Neither is it always |
| Consider your present state | | | | A smooth joyous ride |
| Take a personal inventory | | | | Yet when it is all |
| Evaluate your personal progress | | | | Said and fully done |
| Then critique | | | | You will be handsomely rewarded |
| Whether or not | | | | With fulfillment and fun! |
| You've reached your peak | | | | Mentoring is paramount |
| Who is your role model? | | | | Admittedly it is not always bliss |
